To receive TCA in Florida, you generally need to:

  • Be a Florida resident with a Social Security number (or have applied for one)

  • Have children under 18, or under 19 if in high school, or be a qualified caregiver

  • Meet income and asset limits (up to 185% of the federal poverty level)

  • Participate in work, job training, or school unless exempt

In Florida, TCA payments are sent via EBT card between July 1 and July 28, 2025, based on the last two digits of your case number.

The payment amount depends on your family size and situation. As a general guide:

  • Families with one child may receive between $240 and $300 per month

  • Relative caregivers may receive up to $298 per child aged 13 to 17
